About Chris Hoover
Chris Hoover was diagnosed with MS in 2012. Although Chris was diagnosed at the age of 48, his first MS symptom occurred at the age of 18 when he lost vision in one eye for 2 weeks. MS can be a difficult disease to diagnose, and we now know that early diagnosis is crucial to delay disease progression. That is one reason why Team Hoover strives to raise awareness of MS.
Chris serves as Chairman of the NC Government Relations Committee and works with our Governor, the General Assembly, and Congress to support medical research and to advocate for the needs of the disabled community.
